• Dreaming - Many people dream of business ownership.  Eventually, they decide to look around and investigate the possibilities.  Where do they go to find franchise opportunities?  The world wide web!  Most people stop at this step, because they become overwhelmed and reaffirm the belief that being a business owner is to time consuming, and difficult to achieve.  Even worse are the individuals who continue to search, looking around for a few more hours/days.  Many times these individuals feel even more defeated.   How do they handle this frustration?  99% of these people  file their experience under the “Now Is Not The Time” area of their brain.   You know.. the area we use to store negative thinking.

  • Failure is possible, nothing in life is guaranteed.  Managing risk is quite simple when you’ve taken the necessary step of surrounding yourself with successful individuals.  Individuals who’ve been in your shoes.  With the right team of experts you’ll be prepared and able to handle the issues.   All of this can be taught.  Once educated, you’ll be making decisions based on knowing not guessing.  The fear will subside…you’re better equipped.  You’ll know how to minimize the risks, and more often than not, avoid them all together. 
• Pulling the trigger -  Some people think that pulling the trigger and commiting to ownership might mean missing out on a “better” opportunity.   It’s normal when your making a decision to wonder about such things. The realization of having to live with a decision can be a bit much.  
  • Continuing to search for additonal opportunities and wondering if you’re picking the right one should never be acted upon unless you really don’t like the franchise you’ve been considering.  If you find yourself doing this, be aware that nine times our of ten you’re reacting to fear.  Most of the time this feeling is triggered when you’re in need of more information.  Remember to keep it simple and try not to indulge in fear based reactions.  You don’t want to over think your way out of a great opportunity.  Bottom line, there are pros and con’s within every decision.   Being afraid to pull the trigger can be greatly reduced when you utilze the resources and relationships available.    It’s important to remain focused on your initial decision.  The decision to control your future.  Being a business owner has its challenges… but  there not life threatening!  Again, working with an expert will  help tremendously.  Nothing successful comes from making fear based decisions.
